October 1, 2009 - Signature Healthcare announces the installation of an additional state-of-the-art Digital Mammography machine for patients of the organization.  We now offer this high-technology capability at the hospital and our 110 Liberty St. location. Digital mammography is able to detect more incidences of cancer than film based mammography, and takes less time, assisting in patient comfort.  Fewer than half the screening facilities in the country are able and equipped to offer this advanced screening technology to their patients.

Women’s Imaging at Signature Healthcare offers the highest level of diagnostic capabilities, including mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast MRI, breast MRI biopsy, ultrasound and bone density testing, all in a private, welcoming suite. Our mammography service is staffed by a group of all-female technologists dedicated solely to mammography.
