BGPMA’s on-site Radiology Department offers very important services in the most convenient way possible. Provided at three locations, our patients have advantageous access to diagnostic radiological services, with weekday, weekend and evening hours available to accommodate busy schedules.

The availability of our Radiology Department allows us to deliver all diagnostic information to your referring physician in a more timely manner, therefore giving you, the patient, fewer delays in communication of your diagnostic results.

What We Do

• BGPMA is one of the very few multi-specialty physician group practices to offer patient CAT scans. A private CAT scan suite, equipped with a Siemens Emotion subsecond scanner, is available at our 110 Liberty St. location. This suite is staffed by highly trained technologists, who maintain the skill and compassion to both educate and comfort their patients throughout the entire procedure.

• As part of our continual dedication to the comfort and well being of our patients, our mammography suite has been recently renovated and implemented with new state-of-the-art equipment. Our ACR accredited facility is committed to providing our patients optimal breast health services, with technologists who have earned advanced certification in mammography. Diagnostic mammograms are provided within 48 hours of each request and breast ultrasound is available on-site for continuity of care.

• As Osteoporosis affects nearly 40% of women in their sixties, bone health is a concern for many women. We offer the most up-to-date bone densinometry equipment to provide our patients a quick, painless assessment of their bones’ strength.

• Included in our radiology services are general x-rays and ultrasound testing, including testing for expectant mothers. Same day testing for OB patients can be arranged, with results provided in a timely manner.

• Our Radiologists are board certified and are on-site during normal business hours. Their availability expedites communication of results back to your referring physician, providing optimal continuity of care to you, the patient.
